Paul Tat-Chung Lam is a psychiatrist in private practice in Hong Kong. He is also Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong.

After graduation, Dr Lam underwent postgraduate training in psychiatry and neurology, and subsequently held senior appointments in several teaching hospitals of the University of London, UK, including the St Bartholomew’s, St Thomas’ and St Guy’s hospitals. He also undertook research at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, London, UK.

Before entering private practice, Dr Lam served as Physician in the Department of Medicine, and as Head of the Department of Psychiatry at United Christian Hospital, Hong Kong. His interests lie in conditions that traverse the domains of psychiatry and internal medicine.

Dr Lam is an active member of clinical societies in Hong Kong. He is the past chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Psychiatrists and current president of the Society of Physicians of Hong Kong. He also serves as examiner for the Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists and Department of Psychiatry, University of Hong Kong.
