Anthony Chi Ho Ying is a specialist in clinical oncology in private practice in Hong Kong. He is also a part-time honorary doctor in the Department of Clinical Oncology, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Hong Kong, since 1996.

Dr Ying graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1986. From July 1987 to September 1993, he served as Medical Officer in the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. From October 1993 to June 1994, he studied in the Department of Dermatology, University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, UK. In 1994, he acquired Diploma in Dermatological Sciences from the University of Wales College of Medicine, UK, and Diploma in Medical and Radiotherapy and Oncology. Dr Ying entered private practice in July 1994. He became a specialist in clinical oncology in 2001.

Dr Ying is Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (London, UK), Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists, and Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Radiology).

In 1999, Dr Ying was honoured with the Young Presenter’s Award (Clinical Oncology) at the 7th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists.

Dr Ying is an active member of various scientific societies in Hong Kong. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Committee, and chairman of the Cancer Detection and Prevention Subcommittee, Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society. He is also a member of the Cervical Screening Task Force of the Department of Health, and Cancer Expert Working Group on Cancer Prevention and Screening of the Food and Health Bureau, Hong Kong.

Dr Ying also serves as a visiting doctor at the St Mary’s Home for the Aged, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong.
